Your agent can do every publishing step except one: it cannot send your game to review by itself. When it submits, Summer Games records exactly that version and waits for you. The agent submits. The version waits for you exactly as submitted. You click Approve publishing, Summer reviews it, then it goes live. Not now cancels it and publishes nothing. If the page changes after the agent asked, the request is stale and the agent submits again. The agent submits. The version waits for you exactly as submitted. Approve it

1

Open the link

Your agent gives you a link like https://www.summerengine.com/studio/store/<gameId>/approve/<approvalId>. Open it signed in to your Summer account.
2

Check what will publish

The page shows What will publish: the stores, the title, the desktop and mobile text, the build, the price and your agent’s note. Below it is the store page preview: how players will see this version.
3

Approve, or not now

Click Approve publishing to send it to Summer for review. Click Not now to turn it down; nothing is published, and your agent can submit again later.
When you approve:
  1. The proposed price is set as you. A price needs payouts set up; without them nothing is submitted, and the page tells you.
  2. The page goes to Summer for review.
  3. When the review passes, the game goes live. There is no second click.

When you publish yourself

If you click Submit for review in Studio yourself, that is your approval. There is no extra step. See Publish your game.

What the states mean

What your agent can and cannot do

The Summer Games store enforces this, not your agent. Any other publishing call from an agent is refused with owner_approval_required.

For agents

  • After summer_store_submit, give the owner the approvalUrl. Do not say the game is published, in review or live.
  • summer_store_get_listing lists the owner approvals and their states. Read it to see whether the owner approved.
  • If the state is Stale, read the listing again and submit again.
  • After the review passes, the page goes live. If the approved store bundle is not yet what players get, summer_build_release releases exactly that build. It works for no other build.

Ask your agent

Where is my game? Your agent reads the approval and review state. No changes.
