Publishing is free. Then you choose how you earn. These are the same three options as on summer.games/publish. Three ways to earn: Free, players can tip you, any engine. 30%, set a price and Summer takes 30% of each sale, any engine. Sparks, sell in-game items for Sparks, games built in Summer only. Three ways to earn: Free, players can tip you, any engine. 30%, set a price and Summer takes 30% of each sale, any engine. Sparks, sell in-game items for Sparks, games built in Summer only. Sparks are Summer’s in-game currency. Players buy Sparks and spend them on items in games across Summer.

How to set it up

  • Tips and a price are set on your store page in Studio, not in your game’s code. See Charge for your game and accept tips.
  • Items for Sparks are set up in your game’s catalog and in your game. See Sell items for Sparks.
  • A price needs payouts. In Studio, open Get paid and connect your payout account. Until then your game stays free.

When your agent publishes

Your agent can propose a price when it submits. The price is set only when you click Approve publishing, and only if your payouts are set up. See Approve publishing.

Other costs

  • Store art made with Summer uses your Summer credits, like any other generation. Your own art and screenshots cost nothing.
  • Analytics: every game keeps 10,000 custom events for 7 days for free. See See what players do.
The full terms are in the Creator Program Terms.

Not sure which fits?

Plan how my game earns. Your agent reads your project and suggests free with tips, a price, or Sparks. No changes.
