A co-op game is a squad against the game. A few friends team up, quick play fills the empty seats, the mission runs on a server so everyone sees the same enemies, and the loot and unlocks carry over to the next run. Summer gives you each of those pieces. This page shows how they fit together.

The pieces you need

Parties

Your squad presses Play together and lands in the same mission.

Instant movement

Each player’s own character moves the moment they press a key.

How it fits together

The co-op loop: a squad parties up, quick play fills the last seat, the run plays out on one server, and each player's progress and unlocks are saved before they play again. The co-op loop: a squad parties up, quick play fills the last seat, the run plays out on one server, and each player's progress and unlocks are saved before they play again. Three friends form a party and press Play. Quick play adds one more player to make a squad of four. Summer starts a server for the mission, where your rules run the enemies and objectives. When the run ends, the server saves each player’s rewards, so they’re waiting in the next mission.

Save mission rewards. Loot and unlocks follow each player to the next run.

Rate squads by the missions they clear
