Summer is the game engine built for AI. Any agent builds, tests and publishes a full multiplayer game. In ChatGPT and Claude, you add Summer as a connector and sign in to your Summer account once. Nothing to install.

Add the full Summer MCP

For everything Summer does in the cloud, add this address as a custom connector:
1

Add the connector

Claude (web, desktop and phone): add a custom connector and paste the address.ChatGPT: turn on developer mode, then add a custom connector (an app) with the address and OAuth sign-in. Where the setting lives can change, so check OpenAI’s help if you do not see it.
2

The app opens the Summer sign-in page. Sign in to your Summer account, check the app name, and choose Allow.
Your agent can then make assets, work on your plans and projects, write the store page, publish to Summer Games, change prices, and read analytics. Common jobs have their own tools. For anything else, summer_search finds the operation and summer_call runs it. See Operations. Engine work (scenes, scripts, play, screenshots) needs Summer Engine on your computer and an agent that runs there, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. See MCP setup. Step by step for publishing: Connect your agent.

The versions for the app directories

Summer also has two reviewed versions of the Summer Engine MCP, one for each app directory. Each follows its store’s rules. Each has a fixed list of tools under their 3.x names, and no summer_search or summer_call. For everything, use the full server: add https://mcp.summerengine.com/mcp as a custom connector.
This page is about making games. To play with friends from ChatGPT or Claude, connect the Summer Games MCP instead. See Play with friends from Claude or ChatGPT.
