# SummerDirectMessage

One accepted Summer direct message.

An immutable message from [`SummerClientMessages`](/api-reference/gdscript/client/messages). Its text is plain Unicode, never markup; display it as text.

## Properties

| <a id="created_at" />`created_at` | String | read-only, `get_created_at()` | When the platform accepted the message, as an RFC 3339 timestamp. |
| <a id="id" />`id` | String | read-only, `get_id()` | The message's stable ID. |
| <a id="sender_id" />`sender_id` | String | read-only, `get_sender_id()` | The Summer user ID of the player who sent it: this player or the other player in the conversation. |
| <a id="sequence" />`sequence` | int | read-only, `get_sequence()` | The message's position in its conversation, increasing with each message. Pass it to `SummerClientMessages.mark_read` or `SummerClientMessages.list_messages_after`. |
| <a id="text" />`text` | String | read-only, `get_text()` | The message text: plain text that may contain newlines and tabs but no other control characters. |
