# Summer.client.matchmaking

Hosted placement availability.

Matchmaking is one placement provider among several; entering a World goes through [`Summer.client.join()`](/api-reference/gdscript/client#join) with [`SummerJoinTarget.queue()`](/api-reference/gdscript/types/join-target#queue). This facade only reports whether hosted placement is available right now.
